Printing company doubling productivity in Kazakhstan

Larisa Vasilyeva is the Director of Kazakhstan’s Service Press. After 20 years as an accountant within the printing industry, she made the leap to the operational side of printing and opened a company of her own. With the support of Kazakhstan, Service Press is now thriving. Larisa received a loan from Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan as part of the EBRD’s Women in Business programme to buy additional equipment, which required employing additional staff. As a result, the company has doubled its productivity and now plans to increase its book binding operation as well, by buying new premises to support this next stage of growth.
